LATE DECEMBER QUAIL HUNT
CAMERON, HIS FRIEND LINDSEY, AND MYSELF WENT TO THE WESTERN PART OF THE STATE HUNTING QUAIL. WE HAD A PRETTY GOOD TRIP. WE HAD TO WORK HARD. THE PHEASANT WERE WILD, THE SCENTING CONDITIONS WERE TOUGH, BUT WE FOUND A COUPLE OF REALLY NICE COVEY'S OF QUIAL. FIRST PICTURE IS HARLEY AND MILLEY NEXT TO A CREEK THAQT WAS FROZEN AND REALLY PRETTY TO HUNT NEXT TOO.
END OF THE DAY WE HAD ABOUT 10 QUAIL, A BOAT OAR THAT WE FOUND ON THE CREEK AND SOME GOOD MEMORIES.
FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, LINSDEY, THE 3 BRITT'S-PEPPER, HARLEY, AND MILLY, WITH CLUE THE SHORTHAIR, CAMERON, AND TY THE ENGLISH POINTER.
AN ANTLER SHED AND 3 BEAUTIFUL MALE QUAIL AS THE SUN GOES DOWN.
