Well, this year continues to be amazing. Lee and I went out for a morning pheasant hunt and did well. The dogs were amazing and birds were pretty abundant. We took a 2 man limit on pheasant. I also shot a hun pointed by Jazz and Milly. Great day.

Huns and pheasants
Snuck out for a couple hours today with Josh. We were able to scratch down a few roosters and the Huns that I shot were a scotch double on a point over Jazz! I think the greatest thing about the day is that all the birds we took were pointed.
Big old rooster 25.5
Harley and Jazz both pointed this rooster for me and Milly with the retrieve this bird ended up having a 25 and a half inch tail feather.
Big old spurs
This was a fun bird to shoot. The dogs worked and worked all three Brits trying to pin him down it's kind of neat to see the scent cone develop as they converge into one place and pointed him and I was able to take him. Check out those spurs!
Dads hunt
Lee and I took her dad's on a pheasant and quail hunt before my dad left on his mission. We had a great time going to football games hunting birds and hanging out. It was tough getting into the quail but we finally found them. The dogs did well and the Pheasant were plentiful.

Pheasant opener 2018
Well this year's pheasant season started out with an incredible day yesterday. My dad, brother, and I spent our morning in some of our favorite spots. The Britts were on fire finding, pointing, and retrieving roosters. My dad went through half a box of shells but shot his first limit of roosters in a long time. We had some dandy wingshooting and dog work.
After that was done, I went out in the evening and took a limit of sharptail. Doubled on a point over Jazz.
